Miami
Fashion Week 2016’s third evening at Miami Ice Palace wrapped up successfully
with an internationally renowned Spanish designer, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada,
known for her vibrant and colorful designs that have been recognized and
celebrated worldwide as works of art.
Agatha
Ruiz de la Prada ended on a playful, colorful note with an undeniable Spanish
accent by some of the likes of Antonio Banderas, Enrique Vega, and the most
international capitals of fashion; Paris, Milan and Barcelona. According to
Maimi.com this month, at the Mandarin Hotel Miami Fashion Week Press Conference
the honorary president, Antonio Banderas, said “I need to tiptoe into this
universe where there are people I respect enormously.” Amongst those people is
Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and he explains her involvement with his introduction
into the fashion world saying “She encouraged me and told me to go with my gut
and try something new.”
It
was not hard to see on Ice Palace’s runway that Agatha Ruiz de la Prada’s
design empire does not end simply with clothing. Agatha de la Prada’s collection
was not only highlighted with bright colors, but with a hint of architectural
design. The vibes in this collection were contagious as the vibrant essence of
the models nicely complimented individual pieces. Amidst the creative twists of
Agatha Ruiz de la Prada MIAFW16 were ready-to-wear designs like bell-bottomed
sparkling pants, flowing skirts, and blazers. Yet the architectural physicality
of de la Prada’s collection were displayed in the array of clothing
textures, pictures of hearts and statement pieces like a rainbow-striped
flag-like dress, floral suit and a pink-puffed bathing suit.
