Behind the Scenes with Fashion Designer: Jacqueline Rebecca Augello

 
 
Jacqueline Rebecca Augello was born on March 7, 1991. She is an American Fashion Designer who is widely known for her elegant style. Jacqueline won the award for Best Fashion Designer in 2009 as well as Superior in Costume Design for “Side Show.” In 2010 she began college by attending the Miami International University of Art and Design. In 2010 she was a finalist for the Aventura Chocolate Festival Competition. That same year her chocolate design was featured in the Fashion and Style section of "The Sun Sentinel". In 2011 she entered a Perry Ellis Guayabera Competition succeeding as a finalist as well. This landed Jacqueline on a national television show “Al Rojo Vivo” where Maria Celeste attended and interviewed her after the competition. She then interned for Haute Couture Designer Victoria Lopez Castro to expand her experience and knowledge in fashion. Since then she traveled to Atlantic City Fashion Week to show her first JRA Couture Spring/Summer 2014 Collection. She was honored to show on the same runway side by side with Dom Streater and Helen Castillo from Project Runway. After that, she showed in the Fashion Designers Expo expanding her JRA White Collection and landing her in Elle EspaƱa and several other blogs. Currently, Jacqueline Rebecca Augello is working on her own label (JRA) and business creating custom made gowns and garments for her clients. She has now made a new partner, Ana Lauren Garcia to expand her business and to serve as Assistant Designer to JRA Couture.
 
I had the privilege to work with the beautiful and talented designer Jacqueline Rebecca and wear some of her gorgeous designs during a photoshoot in Miami Beach. That day turned out to be an extremely hot and humid day however, we made it possible to get some good shots from this photoshoot. I also had the opportunity to interview her for Latin Connection TV.
