4th of July at Disney Animal Kingdom

Disney Animal Kingdom

I had a great 4th of July weekend! After spending a full day at Disney Animal Kingdom enjoying all the different and amazing scenery and the beauty of nature. As soon as I walked into the park there was the Tree of Life with more than 300 carvings which took 10 artists and three imaginers working full-time for 18 months to create all of them. The tree itself is 145 feet tall and 160 feet wide. And it’s not a real tree. The base is actually an oil rig, made to withstand Floridian hurricane winds. It’s topped with more than 102,583 transparent leaves in five shades of green.

Growing up I always loved Mickey and Minnie and I grew up watching Disney cartoons. I’m still a kid at heart and this is why I enjoy going to them parks and taking pictures with my favorite cartoon characters.
